After seven years together, Salah paid tribute to the beloved coach, making no reference to the public spat the pair had on the touchline during a Premier League match against West Ham in April. Salah had previously opened up on his relationship with Klopp, but put a personal touch to his message aimed at the coach on Monday following his last ever game in charge.

"It was great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the past seven years," Salah wrote on social media.
"I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope we meet again."

The next phase of Klopp's career remains unknown, but the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach is expected to take a sabbatical from the game after almost nine years in charge of the Premier League team. Salah, meanwhile, is contracted to Liverpool until 2025, but he has been linked with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
